It's all over Twitter. SEC announcement today, along with ACC staying in house with ND, means BDF teams will only have 9 games unless they find someone to join them.

No way t.u. allows that. BYU would just go over, under, around, and thru their defense.
Makes a lot of sense for this season
The BDF bragged about One True Champion, and now realize they can't even field enough games with their conference.
Desperate times begat desperate measures! Neither notre dame nor BYU can afford to be independent.
The hilarity of BYU being the One True Champion at seasons end would be too much to take.

There's NO WAY that the BDF would allow that to happen. BYU would have to beat all 9 teams, the seven guys in stripes on the field, plus the re-play booth.Mookie said:

So they planning on renaming the BIg12 the Random Religious School Conference?
I might have to respect the bdf if they actually stick to their guns and allow a full non-conference schedule.
It seems more likely that they just play 9 conference games only (or do something silly like play 9 conference games and then play a "rival" conference foe a 2nd time to get to ten... (TCU-BU, OU-tu, KSU-KU)
so after thinking it through, adding BYU seems too reasonable and logical for the bdf
