Given how many attendees fly in from around the world, good call to avoid panic.

It's a pretty diverse city too, if you define diversity as "the whole scale gentrification of the east side of the city, forcing black and brown people out of traditional neighborhoods and out to the outskirts north and east where there is no bus service and few, if any, grocery stores." At least it makes it harder for TU students to harass minorities for their greek organizations' social activities.
Yeah, that town didn't need a $355 million tourist cash infusion. Aust is gonna go broke being woke.

Austin has a lot to offer -- restaurants, music, scenery -- that is unfortunately spoiled and befouled by the hordes of Instragrammers, trust funders, Instagramming trust funders, and other mindless, clueless dilettantes who eff up everything for everyone else. Take Franklins BBQ, for example. It's good. Damned good. But is it worth standing in line for four hours? Not to sane people, but the trend-chasing weasels of Austin consider four hours of waiting as a civic requirement. For that kinda wait, the bbq had better served in the cleavage and on top of the tiddies of naked women with J-cup cans.
