For some perspective, since 2006, an SEC team has either won or played for a national championship every year but 2014 and won it 10 out of 14 of those years.

This is the classic, as of late as the horns decline and espn/media tries to manufacture hype, scenario when an athlete commits to tu, their ranking goes up. King was ahead of Card from the get go. King commits to A&M, gets downgraded, Card commits to tu gets upgraded. At the time of commitment King was #1 in TX.
