Welp, looks like "WE" win another one. It's so damn awesome being winners.

Aggies can only assume that it REALLY must suck being in a conference like the lol...Big12, and not being in the SEC.

Let's see the last four years the natty has been about SEC vs SEC and 3 times with SEC vs ACC (Clemson).
I don't even know why any other conference tries.

Would not surprise me that NCAA soon announces playoff expansion to give the rest of the country a chance.

SEC needs to raise the price of its media rights. 70 million per team sounds a lot better than 60 or even 63.

Marketing slogan for 2020 and beyond!

SEC - National championship football is played here!

Kinda like OU "had a chance" against LSU?

If they added 4 teams, that would just mean three more SEC teams would be in the mix.

Yep, so playoff expansion would likely resemble a mini SEC regular season.

Honestly the only hope the L10 and PAC have for long term survival is to combine to form a new conference that gets rid of the deadweight and adds a few new market and gives them a reasonable chance at the one remaining slot for the playoff

PAC North

Oregon
Washington
Boise State
BYU

PAC Coastal

Cal
Stanford
UCLA
USC

PAC Mountain

Arizona
Arizona State
Utah
Colorado

PAC South

Oklahoma
tuRD
Kansas
Rice (PAC wants academics and Houston TVs and recruiting)

Very few programs can compete with the elite talent from the tier one programs in the SEC: Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia and LSU. There is reason these teams are always in the hunt, every year, for a seat at the table in the CFP.

I do find it weird how y'all view the SEC as a single team or program, versus a conference consisting of several teams. But hats off to those top programs. Their talent and execution is almost unbeatable.

The SEC pays really really well. Big time venues, big time games every year of national interest, good weather. It's in the south! What's not to like about it! Compared to the dysfunctional conferences we were in the last 100 years, this is like nirvana! Did I say it pays really well! Our facility improvements have improved by leaps and bounds!

Start practicing adding 'Fightin' Texas Aggies' to your lil' list.
Speaking of little, how much is your program making from its CONFERENCE TV deal?
