Hilarious how these morons spew about us barely beating a shorthanded ok st but not a word about their double digit loss to a uga team missing 13 including 6 starters!
Baylor beat Rice by 8, Tech by 3 in OT, WVU by 3, and TCU by 6 in 3OT. All of those teams had losing records. Those are some DOMINANT results.
A lot of them were pretty sensible except for that bear2be guy.

It wasn't luck that got Baylor into the Big 12, it was the Texas Legislature. When the SWC was blowing up, A&M and Sips were considering going their own ways. Lt Gov. Bob Bullock was a Texas Tech alum, Gov. Ann Richards was a Baylor Alum and several powerful Congressmen were too. Bullock had a lot of power back then. The politicians had a closed door meeting with college officials and at the end of that meeting - A&M, Sips, Baylor and Texas Tech were headed to the Big 12. The remainder of the SWC didn't have the political stroke in Austin to be included too.Hand Of God said:

Baylor, Iowa State, Kansas State, and Tech all benefited heavily by the agreement to split Tier I & II evenly in the BDF. Our leaving led to that to mollify the other members over the LHN.
All four schools arguably invested those proceeds well and are more competitive against OU and Texas than they were previously. I'll stop right there because comparisons with other conferences dnt show quite the same progress and OU still is that much better...

Only one poster on that page seemed to have any clue about reality. The rest of them seemed to believe that college football started this season, and the Carebears were one of the top teams of all time.

Screw Baylor. The Briles and rape fiasco, the murder of Patrick Dennehy that was an attempted cover up, both men and women's basketball teams, cat-killing baseball players. Their fans suck, their students are churchy hypocrites, and Waco is awful. The fact that Baylor has an athletic department is an indictment to the current state of society. Add in their administration's behavior during the move to the SEC and the whole place can eat a big bag of dicks.

How so? Unless you're talking about their loss, we're doing exactly what they're doing in their forum on our own forum. Again, the hypocrisy is real. I'm all for ****ting on Baylor, but them being obsessed is not exactly something we're innocent of here.
I'm talking about their loss. Although the embarrassment is more of the Big 12 in general, not specifically them.
And anyone that is doing the exact same thing as them (suggesting we move conferences to have an easier schedule) is just as dumb. We also aren't suggesting moving to the hardest conference in the league in order to make our schedule easier.
