And what money the conference office(SEC) doesn't spend during the year is then redistributed as "other distributions" to all members equally. Oklahoma was the top earner and brought in $36.6 million while Kansas was on the low end at $33.6 million and Baylor still getting 25% withheld.Flexbone said:
They'll say that each team gets $37.3M. As if nobody else realizes that would mean the conference office gets zero. In the SEC, our per team # is revenue divided by 15, counting the conference office as an additional team.

75% of Vanderbilt. Let that sink in.LOYAL AG said:
So if Baylor is getting a 25% cut that means the other 9 are getting roughly $1M in money that's taken from Baylor's cut which will eventually go away. Plus they're all getting $3.7m that's going back to the conference office. So really OU is the big winner at $32m which is about 75% of what Vanderbilt gets from the SEC deal.
By the way a year ago we caught the big 12 distributing more money than it actually brought in. Some quick research showed that the burn rate of league assets meant they would run out of money at roughly the same time they ran out of TV deals.
What a Charlie Foxtrot.
There are the "haves", the SEC, and the "have nots", the BDF.ccatag said:
This is a article on bdf distribution. I find it funny the author uses the SEC as the measuring stick in his report on the bdf distribution. So a article about the bdf transforms into a article about the SEC. hahaha

Lets see how long these SEC schools remain on Texas schedule because once they start losing these games you know as well as I do that Texas will end up buying their way out of those games. .

It's a shame those rich folks don't donate to your AD. That's what is being debated. Your arrogance won't allow you to make the connection.
