Its to finish off the other endzone, and regardless of what they say publicly we can all guess it will result in them having more seats then Kyle. Empty seats, but more seats.
No, they're saying it will actually be about the same number of seats they have right now. And they're seldom selling those anyway.

It will actually decrease their capacity.....

Fortunately for them the "expansion" reduces capacity.
Didn't Baylor do this with their new stadium ? Sounds like a trend for BDF stadium remodels ?

Not so much a "trend" as it is facing harsh reality.

It's the BDF. NO. ONE. CARES.

According to an article from a couple of months ago, all Power 5 conferences except the ACC saw declines in attendance in 2018.

Yes, 33, that does seem to be the trend. That's conference wide, almost across CFB. So, what can each individual school do to continue to draw great crowds? Is anybody having more success than others? What are they doing that's working? Can other schools replicate that successful formula?

They're also calling them Founder's Suites, but in the endzone.

Come watch your team get aborted onto the field through our end zone uterus.

IDGAS about other schools.
2017 - A&M average = 98,802
2018 - A&M average = 99,844

Will be less seats. Adding a bunch of premium club seats and suites. Less crappy seats. It's the smart move in this day and age. I'd like a capacity of 90k. But with a higher ratio of good, comfortable seats and less bleachers.

So you're saying, "good comfortable seats and less bleachers ratio" is the smart move to go along with your " elite fan ratio". Would that be correct?

Two things that needed to be pointed out. tu is known for inflated attendance counts. No way they averaged that much with shietty conference mates across the board. Second thing is that Georgia not wanting to be there and LSU needing to win on account of their W/L record for the season are two different things. tu will experience a whole different animal when LSU comes to town. But everyone seems to overlook that little tidbit. We'll see how the season plays out for them, but I just dont see them beating LSU despite Ed O and the gang trying to run a new offense. If thats even gonna be attempted. The season cant get here quick enough.

Yes. That is what we are known for. Ask anyone.
