As a lifelong Astros fan who now lives in DFW, I find it exceptionally entertaining to watch this so-called "Baseball Town" support their team

I think you can be realistic in a rebuilding year and still be supportive of your team. All of the off-season moves were hoping to catch lightning in a bottle and trade a pitcher or outfielder for prospects.

Astros fan here.......embrace the suck. It's brutal when you're going through it......I went to those games in MMP in 2011-12 going "who the f is THIS guy" every time they put up the lineup. But those crappy years netted us Correa, Bregman, Altuve, Springer and McCullers (and yes Brady Aiken and Mark Appel....fml). If your owner and GM are worth their salt, it'll be worth it...........

The rangers destroyed their farm system over many years, and are just now attempting to rebuild after running on fumes for quite a while. Whereas the Astros managed to win the world series, return everyone of consequence, and get even more loaded, all while holding on to all of their best farm talent.
