What is pre-empting softball on LHN? Still just '05 USC and 2011 A&M reruns? Maybe they cant afford to send a crew to the games.
tu is killing the BDF. This is just another example. Imagine a Big 12 Network with A&M, Mizzou, CU and NU still in it? That's a money maker. Now if they dumped LHN nobody would care. There's nothing worth showing which is why their time slots were so bad this year.
Any minute now one of our resident sips will come along and tell us they don't give a damn about the BDF as if that's some revelation. It's blatantly obvious in everything you do.

Looks like the TV partners view the BDF as a one team league. TCU is in 7 of those 12 games.

Look, you ain't got to sell us on LHN. Aggies LOVE IT! It is the best thing y'all ever did from our perspective. It's destroyed your conference while simultaneously locking you into said conference for the foreseeable future. You're in a football league nobody respects with matchups nobody cares about, a baseball league that doesn't even get broadcast and you have a network all to your own with distribution to dozens of people who don't watch it. LHN has been a huge win for everyone but tu and the BDF. Have fun with it! I hope the contract gets renewed in 2032 or whenever it expires. As long as you have it you're toxic.

I believe all of the home softball and baseball games at Texas are televised.
And the teasips get their normal flat annual fee for broadcast rights, while ESPN picks up what little Advertising revenue and bears the burden of production costs right. So it won't add any additional revenue for these games to be on LHN. And what do the opponents in these games get paid? Do they get a larger percentage of the gate?
I am surprised ESPN doesn't make y'all put all your basketball games on the LHN. Y'all are taking away valuable time slots for other members of the Big12 to be on the regular ESPN channels. Y'all are costing the Big12 at both ends.

That's fine...for Texas. The problem is that arrangement hurts all the other members of your league, and in turn, hurts Texas. Why do you think the MLB introduced revenue sharing a long time ago? Because it's better for the game as a whole, and thus, even the bigger teams, for the smaller market teams to have the resources needed to compete. This is incredibly basic, and it takes 5 seconds of examining history to realize that Texas arranging a deal to the exclusion of all the other members was a terrible, shortsighted idea.bryanhome said:

All SEC series, home and away, will be on the ESPN family of networks. Somewhere on a linear network (ESPN/ESPN2/ESPNU/SEC), or streamed on SEC+. And that SEC+ stream is in HD with TV quality production.
Too bad you SEC sucker fish won't get to watch the 2 time defending national champion OKLAHOMA SOONER softball team in action. They are the unanimous #1 ranked team going into the 2018 season.
Don't think anyone around here gives a crap about Ladies Land Thief softball.
