Looks like they are dropping $270M on the project. It also looks like they are only rebuilding the press box side of the stadium, plus other upgrades. I assume that they are going to leave room for a track for the 2018 Olympics.

Also lowering capacity from 90,000 to 77,000. The stadium now has a lot of bad seats and crowded walkways.

Still cool to think that this almost 100 years old stadium has hosted the Super Bowl, the World Series and two Olympics.

The endzone with what look like temporary stands is awful. It looks like when they try to play football in a baseball or nascarstadium. The whole design looks forced and cheap.

The field is not centered. This is still a track stadium, so the end zone are going to a long ways from the field. It looks like they will not install the track until 2028. A lot of the older stadiums like Kyle Field, Texas memorial stadium and Husky Stadium had the track removed as part of the renovation. That was not an option for USC.
