Guys on reddit speculate the jump from TCU to sipland is a sign that he wants to be at a big name school that can survive the enevitable collapse of the big dumpster fire, so OU or texas.

Which has some logic considering TCU has the money to match what the sips are paying, so he didn't leave for cash.

This is my thinking as well and the non-expansion circus seems to confirm that sip and cheat are not planning on staying on in the Little 10 much longer. It's clearly not an amount of money TCU couldn't match and the Sip AD is a dumpster fire. This is about not being there when SWC break up 2.0 happens.

tu now has former Rice AD as their boss to go along with former Rice football assistant as head FB coach and former Rice assistant baseball coach now their head baseball coach.

If they keep losing, maybe excuse can be they are focusing on academics.

I was trying to think of why he'd go sip. I know TCU can match any $ sip wanted to offer.

Sips who think this means they could get Patterson are cute.
