Because we here on the Old Rivalries board have been predicting that the Big XII was going to have fewer playoff appearances as P5 conference since realignment in 2010-2011.

We have chronicled every misstep, bone-headed, arrogant move the Big XII has taken since they completely botched realignment.

I've been impressed by this Tcu team.

They don't have anyone on offense or defense who is a superstar like that WR they had two years ago. But they are very efficient on offense. They have numerous ways to attack defenses, and their OC utilizes them all. At qb, Kenny is playing solid football, like an experienced senior should.

They finish with this schedule:

Kansas in ft worth
@Iowa State
sips in ft worth
@Oklahoma
@Ttech
baylol in ft worth

If they are out of sync or not playing especially well against one of these 4 (IowaSt, sip, OU, and Tech), they will lose.

Let me backtrack a bit. A regular season Bama loss if they win the CCG won't be prevent them from getting a playoff spot. A loss to undefeated Georgia in the CCG could keep them as things stand this year.

That's a maybe. Depends on Penn State, Ohio State, Clemson, Miami and Notre Dame and to a lesser extent an undefeated TCU winning in decisive fashion over the Sooners.
