Listening to commentary this afternoon on 104.7 in Austin:

"Since 2005, 17 Quarterbacks have signed with Texas. Exactly 3 of them have finished their eligibility period as QB's at Texas. 2 of them were named McCoy."

I'm not sure of the significance of that observation. The great ones tend to leave early. If they get buried on the depth chart, they transfer. I wouldn't be surprised at that stat at many major programs.

But yes, Texsa does, indeed, suck.

17 QBs in 12 years. How many started 14 games or more? How many were drafted? How many have taken snaps in regular season nfl games?

Their point was that all of the rest ended up transferring or switching positions, and David Ash retired due to concussion.

Jameill Showers should be listed as "NFL". He was a scout team QB for the Cowboys for a bit. Might still be.

He transferred to UTEP, before going into the NFL.
