Wait....so other conferences have the number 1 team play the number 9 team? Wow....how did they come up with this?
The Big XII has the worst PR department in the Power Five. Nothing is catchy from the music to the graphics to the slogans. Remember "One True Champion!" "Every Game Matters!" and the coaches morphing into one another? Wasn't it Kliffy that morphed into Charlie Weiss? LOL.nu awlins ag said:

So wait...two teams are competing to move on to the playoffs? Given their history that's a pretty bold statement, isn't it? If history is any indication they're likely going to be left out of the playoffs.

Just wait. Whichever two teams end up in the rematch CCG will split them. The winner will still be crowned the conference champion but will have the same record, leading to more discord. Just how the BDF rolls the last five-six years.

It looks like someone spend 15 minutes throwing something together on iMovie as a framework for what the real commercial spot needed to look like and they just went with it.

ACC could have Miami v Clemson with both in top 8
and the B12 could eliminate its top team in a rematch game that might be played while the PAC is eating brunch.
With the BDF's luck, that confusing scenario will likely happen, causing the CFP selection committee to scratch their heads and try to make some sense of it...again.BernArnold said:

The Big XII is the problem child for the selection committee.
Did this awhile back when it was announced....worth repeating.
Here is what the B12 Championship game would have looked like from 2012-16 if they had it - only 1 of the 5 games is worth a damn and/or necessary.
2012
11-1 (8-1) KSU vs. 10-2 (8-1) OU
KSU won the first time 24-19 at OU now they get a chance to lose the conference instead of winning it on tiebreaker like they did.
2nd loss would eliminate KSU from playoff - OU was not going regardless -bad idea.
2013
11-1 (8-1) BU vs. OU on 3 way tiebreaker
10-2 OU, 10-2 OSU and 8-4 tu were all 7-2 in conference and OSU was the one that beat BU head to head.
But that doesn't matter in the tiebreakers...OU gets the tiebreaker on point differential...unreal.
BU beat OU 41-12 on Nov. 7
And of course BU could get eliminated from playoff with 2nd loss.
2014
11-1 (8-1) TCU vs 11-1 (8-1) BU
A rematch of the wild game BU won 61-58 in Waco midseason.
This is the best case game - would decide who went to the playoff.
2015
11-1 (8-1) OU vs. 10-2 (7-2) OSU due to their head to head tiebreak win over 10-2 (7-2) TCU
so this is a rematch of the OU 58-23 beatdown of OSU just the week before.
Again OU at 11-1 could get eliminated - but also a boring game and rematch from 1 week before
2016
10-2 (9-0) OU vs. 9-3 (7-2) OSU
Rematch of the 38-20 Bedlam game from just the week before.
No playoff implications here - but another boring rematch

2013 = wrong teams playing should be OSU vs BU
2014 = good game unless you like defense
2015 = ugly rematch 1 week later
2016 = boring rematch 1 week later

That video was voiced by some guy in the advertising company's office who sounds decent and they wouldn't have to pay for a professional.
How do I know that? Because I've been that guy before. I'm okay for a low-budget local commercial here and there and also cheap (I didn't get a dime for them), but for a spot like this? Jesus, spend the money for a professional voiceover artist.

It's only 1 vs 2 because their chitty conference doesn't have enough teams to have a 1 vs 1.
It seriously looks like an old pre-HD FoxSport Southwest weekend preview of the upcoming games. Terrible.
