Of course that list is bull***** The SEC has 4 more teams than the big XII, so it makes sense that it has 4 times the draft picks.

Quote:

Texas A&M and Missouri left the Big 12 for the SEC after the 2011 season, and since joining their new league they've combined to produce 33 NFL draft picks with a median selection position of 70.5. The 10 Big 12 schools have produced 103 draftees in the same period.

Goodness.

"Every league in the country would like to be in business with cash cows Oklahoma and Texas, who will be free agents again when the Big 12's grant of rights expires with its media rights deal in the spring of 2025."

Uh, sorry...the albatross otherwise known as the LHN is still on for another 6 years after that...sooners are free agents, but not the sips unless ESPN says so...

"Blue-Chip Ratio: Shows what percentage of a team's signees are rated 4* or 5* recruits (ie, blue chips). It boils down to teams that sign more 4* and 5* recruits than 2* and 3* recruits over the previous four recruiting classes. The 2017 national champion will be one of these 10 teams."

2017 Most Talented Blue Chip Ratio Rosters:
1) Alabama - 80% of roster
2) Ohio State - 71% of roster
3) LSU
4) Florida State
5) Georgia
6) USC
7) Michigan
8) Auburn
9) Clemson
10) Notre Dame
?) Article didn't list more than Top 10, but other information clearly indicates that A&M is firmly in the 13-17 range.

2016 Most Talented Blue Chip Ratio Rosters:
1) Alabama - 14-1 record in 2016
2) USC - 10-3
3) Ohio State - 11-2
4) LSU - 8-4
5) Notre Dame - 4-8
6) Florida State - 10-3
7) Michigan - 10-3
8) Auburn - 8-5
9) UCLA - 4-8
10) Texas A&M - 8-5
11) Georgia - 8-5
12) Clemson - 14-1
13) tu - 5-7
14) Tennessee - 9-4
15) Florida - 9-4
16) Ole Miss - 5-7
17) Miami - 9-4
18) Oklahoma - 11-2
19) Penn State - 11-3
20) Oregon - 4-8
21) Stanford - 10-3
22) South Carolina - 6-7
23) Michigan State - 3-9
24) Washington - 12-2
25) Arkansas - 7-6

2017 Big 12: Recruiting has been a big part of the league's issues. The league just lacks talent as a whole, and that's Borne out on the field and in the NFL Draft. There are only two teams that -- because of geography, resources, tradition, and commitment -- have realistic chances to recruit at a national title level: Texas and Oklahoma. Right now, they sit at 46 and 45 percent, respectively.

Is there some reason for you to think Texas needs to jump ship in the future?

Herman is on the right track. He has Texas at #2 in recruiting and I don't see anyone bumping that for the rest of the year.

All Herman has to do is win 7 games and go bowling.

Texas doesn't have the #2 class pal. It isn't a Top 5 class. He has nothing on either line. That will absolutely kill a team. It's very Fran like. Texas's class isn't anything like the ones around it.

7 wins in the Big 12 when you have more talent tgn every team in the league? That actually sounds exactly like Herman.

Isn't it about time we start accurately referring to the real power conferences as the Power Four?

Says who, your liucci?

I'm going off 247 composite ranking. This has nothing to do with Texas.

You on the other hand look at Luicci who has max wright ahead of BJ Foster. Evan rivals puts foster ahead so keep sucking on Luicci

But why don't you back up your claim they are not inside 5 in recruiting? Let's hear it.

Also Texas just picked up Rafiti Ghirmai, a 4 star OT. To go along with Reese Moore 3 star OT.

On the other side there is Keondre Coburn, a 4 star DT.

You just defined what Trump Fake News is all about.

Yes it's true! Texas just cut into that SEC OT line.

Those 7 wins are all Texas needs and anymore than that is a bonus. Let the kids grow and let Herman go for another #1 recruiting class again next year. These things take time.
All the fan base needs is positive results for this year and Herman is on the right track.

Come on man.....you know this? His name is everywhere when it comes to recruiting.

Stevie, it's obvious you have trouble processing what people are actually saying. I said that Texas' class may be "ranked" that high right now, but IN REALITY the class really isn't as good as that ranking because that ranking doesn't take into account filling need positions with talent. 1 4 star DT and 1 4 star OL? You need a LOT more than that to actually have a legit Top 5 class, especially with what Texas currently has at those spots. By "legit Top 5 class" I mean one that actually has a chance to make you a legit Top 5 team. Perhaps that's enough on the line for the Big 12, but that will get you beat down against legitimate competition. Don't believe me? Ok. I wouldn't want to either. You still want to ignore that Herman brings in a less impressive resume than Strong, as well as incredibly thin skin (already!!!??) and finished 5th in the AAC last year. You WANT TO believe he's a sure thing, but he absolutely isn't.
