Given the level of competition in the BDF, that's probably not far off. Less than 9 total wins is inexcusable in that league if you're the horns.

If the win percentages are accurate, it's 9-3 for whorns.
If the predicted wins that are 51%-60% turn out to be losses, it's 6-6 for the whorns.
I'll go with 7-5.

That Kansas percentage is way too high.

I suppose anything is possible - just not likely. There are lots of examples of coaches that won big in their first year with a program.

However, I think I'll keep my money and not bet on Chip's prediction/fantasy coming true.

I never make predictions or bet on games. I'll enjoy going to the first couple of games in person and then follow the rest of the season from my vantage point in the Black Forest.

There are many factors that could point to a very good season (certainly not likely to be as fantastic as the Chip prediction):

- There is a lot of talent (but not much depth in critical areas)
- Strong was a terrible coach.
- Stoops is gone and I think he was one of the best in the business.
- Ok St comes to Austin
- Baylor is now two years removed from Briles

And, most importantly....

- Kansas has a new OC so they should see some drop-off. (Obligatory smart ass sarcasm for my friends.)

I have always been the voice of reason with my conservative and logical predictions of run away longhorn wins and i think chip is delusional. We are clearly going undefeated. As long as the bus carrying usc, ou, okie state, wvu and tcu drives over a cliff on the way to the game and none of their players survive.
