The media coverage of Jefferson is amazingly positive considering his pretty mediocre career to date. He was pulled from games and benched halfway through the season. before supposedly having a huge bounce back. He had a decent game against Tech and then got knocked out during the W. Va game and that was it.

Maybe Herman's staff will utilize him more effectively.

Poona Ford's numbers stack up well with the other DL on that list. That doesn't mean Ford is good, it just means he's BDF Good.

Only in the BDF would a Defensive Lineman that accounted for 2.5 sacks over 3 seasons be considered an All Conference 1st Teamer. Not 2.5 per season, 2.5 in 3 seasons. Less than one sack per year folks.

What about tackles for loss? 12.5 in 3 seasons. Basically one tackle for loss every three games. Friggin' stud this guy is.

If anyone wants an example of how t.u. gets hype it doesn't deserve, look no further. Four players from the defense that set the t.u. record for futility are on BDF 1st Team and Poona Freakin' Ford is one of them. Goodgawdamighty! So glad to be in the SEC.
