A Waco grand jury indicted Armstead on the three counts last week, but his indictment was sealed until his arrest.

"The result of his arrest stems from additional evidence that we have obtained by working with Baylor to disclose information regarding their investigation into sexual assault incidents," District Attorney Abel Reyna told KWTX.

"We have been working with Baylor and they have been cooperating in providing us information on various incidents including sexual assaults," he added.

Very interesting that a title IX investigation uncovered evidence that a police investigation didn't. Briles and co emails/texts would be hearsay, unless the player confessed to coach via email. Suggests police didn't try very hard.

Oh, they were trying hard. They were trying hard to cover things up with Briles. The problem is I don't know if this is something that the DOJ is going to want to investigate.
