To be fair, the Big 12 has at least two that weren't invited due to beating women or dogs, not because of lack of talent. So that 18 probably needs an asterisk. Does that bring their number up to 66?

Guys, this means nothing. You have to look at the "elite player ratio" when reviewing these numbers.
SEC - 14 teams = 4.71 players per team
ACC - 14 teams = 4.28 players per team
BIG - 14 teams = 3.64 players per team
P12 - 12 teams = 3.91 players per team
B12 - 10* teams = 4.5 players per team
So, using the 15-50 rule, the B12 is actually on equal footing as the mighty SEC.
*Only 4 teams were used in the calculation for this conference. Teams left out of the calculation are either forever young, too rapey to have players invited, illiterate and unable to find the location of the combine on a map, or are from Kansas or Iowa.

A couple of these are not like the others.
The SEC has four extra teams. You guys clearly don't understand that they accounted for the incremental 48 players.
Also, the combine doesn't measure how many great men Chollie developed. You guys are way too focused on football. Chollie was all about the core values.

How does the bdf measure up to the mid-majors?
Oklahoma (Big 12 Champion) and Stoops wouldn't have anymore wins than Sumlin and the Aggies if they were in the SEC. Couldn't hold up playing physical fronts week after week. The difference is A&M is going to get there. You can see the Aggies getting more and more SEC type kids. And as the combine and the draft shows the last several years the flag football the Big 12 plays doesn't grab the attention of kids with NFL dreams. Playing against one SEC team a season a top Big 12 team may win. Going against physical teams week after week in the SEC a Big 12 team even a top Big 12 team would not hold up. It has been a long battle for the Aggies to get the depth and SEC caliber type kid. Would be the same for any Big 12 team.

Duh. If he had 2 then he'd have had 10 wins. If his oh so youthful players had somehow managed to get THREE then that would have been 15! wins, or 12-0, conf championship, playoff, and championship!
Oh wait the bdf doesn't play a championship game until next year... no wonder he came up short.
Chollie got 5 wins with one combine guy because the rest of the league has very few NFL caliber players either.
