Cowboys AVERAGED 23.7 million viewers per game in the second half of the season. More than the last World Series and more than the NBA Finals. And more than any bowl game Including both semifinals.

So what you are saying if for not the bandwagon fans (Mexicans) jumping onboard, then the NFL ratings would suck? Makes sense and very Longhorn of you Cowboys fans.

Umm...the Yankees? But why is this smack? Most NFL fans are yokel losers. Why is it a point of bragging to say a lot of them watch a team's games?

ha!!!...mexicans aren't the bandwagon fans. it's the rich white dallasites......admittedly they expect a great product and only watch when they are really good. and thats not all that watches the Cowboys...the other thing that REALLY drives ratings is HATRED. nobody hates the Texans enough to care but the Cowboys are most watched across the country because they are the most hated.
and thats not very longhorn actually....cuz the longhorn ratings are NEVER the greatest in even all of college football. they wish. and they are not hated enough outside of the state of texas to drive much national audience. thats why their games are on regional networks and obscure sports networks (LHN, FSN, and FS1).
it's pretty dumb actually to try to compare college fanbases and any pro fanbases. they have nothing in common. colleges have built in fanbases from students, nothing like that from the pros. colleges are much more divided in a region or even a state with many more teams. Even with 2 teams Texas has many many many more millions of Cowboys fans than longhorns fans. College fans are divided about 12 ways in this state.....pro fans are still 80/20 Cowboys on this state.
It's just a dumb comparison really. But that what haters got....and thats all they got.
Don't care.

I'd say you are WRONG......and the data shows it.....but keep up your blind misconceptions it serves you well.

25% of NFL fans make over $100K - thats behind only the NHL and PGA in sports
On the other end only 26% make less than $40K - again only the NHL and PGA are lower.
77% are white
55+ is the largest age group of fans at 37%
They are mostly old rich and white or at least middle class.

In other words, 75% of them DON'T. Do you know what "most" means?
