But neither is actually a championship game???

OU/OSU is a championship game. Winner wins the Big12.
Yeah. It's a regular conference game. Just so happens that this year their records are the same and one of them will be declared the league champion thereafter.Aggie304 said:
No, it's just a regular conference game.

I can already see it now.....
Next season, a one-loss oU team, being hyped by the BDF and even some national media, loses to a two-loss WVU/TCU/oSu, in the BDF championship game, and loses out on a playoff bid.

better yet...let them lose to an 8-4 tu (6-3 in conference lost to OU in Dallas and 2 other conference games plus lost to USC in non conference but won 3 way tiebreaker for 2nd with OSU and WVU both 9-3/6-3 in conference).
that would be glorious. lose a rematch of the rivalry game to an unranked tu team.
i don't know why i just think it would be funny for texas to be responsible for killing the B12 playoff chance.
amazing only "big" game in its timeslot and it was the least watched of the day.brainman5000 said:
