is this true? is everyone just doing 80/10/10 instead?

I was anticipating getting a Jumbo loan around 4%... Instead I'm looking at a 30year conventional at 2.5% and a 10% 2nd lien at 5.25%.

Anyone have anything that competes with that?

Exceptional credit (822) with more than enough for 20% down.

Not sure if the picture will post. But, my friend and fellow Aggie Tyler Speakman is a mortgage lender and I know he's helped several people lately with Jumbos.

With 20% down jumbo should be no problem with rates even lower then 4%. Love to give you some numbers to look at. been the title sponsor here for years and helped countless posters. Email is my screen name here.

Would 10% down be eligible for one with everything going on? Or should we just look at an 80-10-10?

How about jumbo refis? Are they available and what do the rates look like?

sure, they are available. As for rate there are a TON of factors that go into what a rate would be. But, 3.25%-3.00 range is available depending on the details.

Is Oklahoma one of them? If so, might be in contact in a bit.
