I bought an older house, which has windows facing the neighbors brick walls, etc - my guess is they date back to when they would be needed for ventilation. (It's from 1937)
I'm thinking about framing a piece of frosted glass, with a mirror tint on the smooth side, and hanging it over the window, with the mirror on the inside.
That way, some daylight could still come in through the window, but, at night, it would act as a mirror, and brighten the room, rather than be dark/have to put drapes over it, etc.
Anyone try this? Any ideas?
