My grandparents are looking to sell their 5 acres on 1488 and an equestrian sub division and move to a retirement community with golf and senior activities. Any suggestions on a good community with 90 miles of Magnolia. They both still drive and are in good decent health. She is 80 he is 78

Sun City in Georgetown is an option and gets great reviews. But more then 90 miles though.

I have a played a couple of the courses in Sun City at Georgetown. Really good courses. My friends love living there.

There's a Del Webb community on 1488.

Kissing Tree in San Marcos is another that comes to mind but yeah the Magnolia thing scratches that one out as well.

It's where they have lived for 25 years, before that New Caney for 30 years, so they still have friends in the area. My mom is in Montgomery and uncle is in Huntsville and they will be the biggest piece of their support system as they age
