The wife and I might be selling our house soon due to a potential job change. It's our first house and we bought a year and 8 months ago. My question is, what is the normal % cost at closing to the seller? We're brand new to selling a house so I want to make sure that we are getting a fair rate. Thanks!

If you pay realtors a full 6% then 8% total. Cut true realtor some way knock it off 8. On the buy you are looking at around 2%

Cut that 6% down to 3% for the buyers agent plus our flat fee. We sell houses all over the state of Texas for just $1200.
