Our house is currently vacant, but we do have a couple of Nest cameras we've been keeping online to monitor the house.
This evening, the day before closing, the buyer's realtor showed up and let himself into our house.
About a minute later, all of our cameras go offline. Apparently he unplugged our modem/router which allowed our cameras to actually work.
This is the 2nd time this week the realtor let himself in unannounced. But the first time he unplugged our stuff.
Long story short, we find out that the realtor was going to let the buyer into our house to start unloading things into our house, without permission. Luckily our realtor's broker had called him before they actually unloaded. (Our realtor is out of service this week, so she couldn't handle this). He also plugged our router back in. When the cameras came back on we saw our buyer with a trailer parked out front.
What makes it worse, the buyers did ask if they could store things in our house a few days before closing, and we asked if they could simply close earlier instead. They declined and specifically said they wouldn't store any items before closing.
They finally left, but I'm still a lit ticked off. Surely this isn't normal procedure, right? Or am I just overreacting?
