How long do you want to ignore this user?
AG
  • turning a rental after 2 year tenant
  • overall good tenants, tidy, clean, easy to do business with, always on-time, etc
  • 2 big, old dogs (approved in advance, paid pet deposit, etc)
  • anecdotal info (maybe?) one of the old dogs passed away a few months back
  • all floors replaced in 2017 so brand new for these tenants
  • Upstairs carpet and downstairs engineered hardwood
  • Carpet and hard wood floors professionally shampood/deodorized after tenants moved out

  • ...but house still smells like old dog
  • Several people have been through house post-deodorizing and all agree it still smells more like wet dog (vs a pet urine smell)
  • And everyone is 99% sure the smell is coming from downstairs and most likely from the engineered floors
  • But no one can pinpoint "where" exactly the odor is coming from

anyone have experience getting the smell out of engineered floors?
