I'm looking for a structural engineer to do a walk-through and evaluation of a home. So far, no company has been interested in doing residential work. Anyone have a contact or suggestion? I need an engineer, not architect or contractor in this case.

Did you call Dunham Engineering? Not sure what their turn around time is right now, but they did one for my buyer this summer.

The Aggie number specified has already been linked with another TexAgs account.
Gessner has stated they'll do it, but has been unresponsive in scheduling or followup calls. I'm sure they are too busy with commercial work. That's actually what prompted this thread.
Nothing magical about home inspections or the math required to size a beam for a span.
