So we are thinking about building a Spanish Mediterranean. Are the Spanish tile roofs absolutely outrageous in price? Is clay the best option or is concrete ok?

I also assume they probably will never need to be replaced in my lifetime...?

Thanks in advance!

I wouldn't do it. Maybe they are better now but my parents house that was built in 1985 has one. It has been alot of work with leaks and debris getting stuck in places causing more leaks. The roof needs to be power washed every 10 years or so. They do look good though.
