Spinning off of the "Lender in Dallas" thread...

I will be looking to buy a home in Houston in the next few months, so I'd like to get the ball rolling on prequalifying for a mortgage before hitting the listings hard with a realtor. Are there any Houston lenders on this board, or does anyone have any recommendations on who to talk to? I'd rather connect with someone through the Aggie Network instead of just walking into banks and sitting down with loan officers. Thanks in advance!

I would love to through my hat into the ring although not physically located in Houston. We lend all over the state and the majority of our Aggie loans are in Houston due to huge number of former students in the area. Geography has never been an issue.
