I may not fully understamd the post...It's a scam but it sounds like the investor is going to save her by creating a situation t save her from, the foreclosure. But...what about this Realtor....the friend may still be required to pay commission depending on what she signed in the agreement...she's going to get double screwed...selling really really cheap...maybe to a wholesaler who is assigning the contract...and then having to pay a commission to the agent because I can gaurantee the friend doesn't read contracts...
This sounds like the Realtor just didn't do his or her job in terms in informing and this is the result.
