I live in Richmond, Tx and am in Fort Bend County.

I want to see what the sale value to the original home owner was. Is there a way to do that?

Or is there a way to see sale prices or homes sold within the last 6 months.

I went to the FBCAD website and under the sales history section there is something called "INSTR #" - what is this number. Is it a sales reference number?

If it was listed in MLS, generally it gets updated in MLS when it sold. Ask a realtor friend to look it up.

If it's not, sales price does not legally have to be disclosed in TX.

Use Redfin. It's like HAR but gives exact $ amounts

The INSTR Number is the recording reference.

Only HAR will have the correct sales amount
