My wife and I are looking at properties closer to Dallas, but in the general direction of CS. Think Wortham, Mexia, Groesbeck, Teague, etc.

Does anyone know or recommend a realtor in the area? We are looking at a property in Wortham on 3/19.

Try Cricket Thomas at Red Barn Realty in Jewett. http://redbarnrealty.net/. He is a good guy and experienced with land in that area. I have known him my entire life and have personally used him in purchasing acreage in Leon County.

Blake and the Allison Team at RE/MAX BCS are the best around for Farm & Ranch.

We have used Kim Story out of Mexia and Margo Foster out of Hubbard - both did good jobs for us.

Nothing huge, 60-150 acres or so. The one in Wortham is 125 acres.
