Any opinions/input on Shea Homes? Good, bad, indifferent? Currently looking at a new construction inventory home.

Not sure where you are looking but I know several of the folks in their Houston division. Darling homes was bought by Taylor Morrison a while back and many of the Shea people in Houston came from Darling when that move was made. I take that as a good sign as Darling builds quality homes. Can't speak to many specifics but I would say that the "bones" i.e. foundation, framing, plumbing, cladding, of Shea's homes are probably on the higher end as compared to other volume builders out there.
