This has not been a thing this year. All coaches are going to let players work through some troubles, but Joni has used timeouts regularly this year.
Joni used all of her timeouts in our last road game at Auburn. Joni used timeouts at home against Georgia. She used timeouts at home against LSU. It was weird that she didn't at home against Missouri.
Yesterday Kentucky never made a substantial run, so no timeout needed for that situation.
And the game was never really close at the end where we needed to call a timeout to advance the ball and set up a play. So no timeouts needed there.
Those are your two primary timeout situations.
