Our starting guards are having trouble staying up with the quickness and speed of Lamar.

McKinzie Green subbing in now. She is quick. Hopefully, she is ready to contribute more than asked last year when Chennedy and Shambria were in front of her. She could be an important piece.

Ndea turned it on in the second quarter. We made better defensive adjustments but we still need to a better job of talking on defense. It seems that they don't know if they are switching on screens or not.

My biggest concern is I don't think we have hit a shot outside of 5 feet.

First game so I'm less concerned and I'm glad they're playing a well-coached if less talented team. But the comments on guards and shooting at any range at all are a little disappointing to watch.

Hope at half time we can clean up the cobwebs a little!!! Still on track for a win.

We need to run a play or two for Kayla to shoot a 3. I know she can hit from the outside. She has done a lot of driving (and charging).

I'll take the win considering we played all active 13 players. DePaul is going to be a tough team since they always play a stretch 5 offense with everyone shooting three pointers.
