I guess the team is good with the fact that 70-75% of every black child is born fatherless!!!

I already have access to season tickets. I'm offering to mitigate the misery of those who bought tickets, but who can no longer stand to be in the presence of our Women's Basketball team.AgDad77 said:

YAWN!!!
You seem to use the same tired, old statement about filling someones void and buying their tickets at face value if they decide to stop attending games in your post. You have used that same statement before on another thread.
I have a novel idea for you.
Why dont you get off your butt - go to the 12th Man Foundation - Drop down the donation required for season tickets and GET YOUR OWN - that way you dont have to fill any void plus you actually get to support $$ something.
I think that using private funds donated by individuals to make your stand is not helpful. But those funds come through a government funded institution so Texas A&M cannot overlook the First Amendment. It's a necessary liberty.cs69ag said:
I hear our volleyball team knelt for our National Anthem yesterday prior to their home opener with LSU.
If the wbb team does that, I will be out of Reed as fast as I can climb the stairs from my seat, and will not return
until there is a change. I will not support any wbb function in person until this is changed.
I go to athletic events to support Aggie Student Athletes, not political statements. I go for the athletic competition,
not politics. Plenty of time, other forums and other venues for politics. It does not need to be comingled with athletic events.
Support your Country and your University. Appreciate the freedoms you have been gives and the scholarship that you have! Political activism is fine. It just does not belong at our athletic events.

I would be shocked if they didn't kneel this year. I am sorting out how to react when it occurs. I have supported the program since the 90's and will likely continue regardless. As a veteran it is difficult to watch but I respect our freedoms.
