Congratulations to her on a great career, and by all accounts, and outstanding person. And she is going out at or near the top of her profession.
I saw in the article that she was 64. Good for her to retire now! Unless there is an unreported issue with her or her family, she has the expectation of a long, high quality retirement time.
I wish more coaches would look to get out on top rather than extend their tenure when they are clearly past their prime.
