Apparently Zaay Green may be transferring from Tennessee to Texas A&M. She went to high school in Duncanville and was ESPN's #10 national recruit. The elite 6'0" guard was a McDonald's All-American. As a freshman at Tennessee in 2018-19, she was a member of the all-SEC freshman team and was SEC freshman of the week twice.
The NCAA will vote in May on a rule change that will allow every player the ability to transfer one time without having to sit out a year.
Zaay only played in the first 2 games last year before tearing her ACL on November 9. With the injury rules, I'm not sure if this would give her another year and be playing again as a sophomore in the 2020-21 season.
I hope this transfers happens!
