After eight seasons in Austin, Texas women's basketball coach Karen Aston will not return, athletic director Chris Del Conte announced on Friday.

In eight seasons in Austin, Aston was 184-83, took Texas to the NCAA tournament six times and had one Elite Eight and three Sweet 16 appearances.

It's related to women's basketball, especially in the state of Texas. Their program, along with Baylor, is one of the top women's basketball programs we compete with for recruits.
