Apologies if this has already been answered on the Board...

Is Anna Dreimane fully eligible to play with the start of the 2019-2020 season?

When is Ashley Hearn eligible?

Is it correct that we have one more year with Sham (after this one)?

Ashley and Anna will both start the season next year. Sham has one more year

Hearn and Anna are good to go at the start of next season and Sham has one more year.Blair will petition for 3 years for Anna and 2 for Ashley, instead of 2 and 1 which they have currently. All of this came from Blair himself.

Coach Blair will continue to coach as he has always done regarding players playing. He plays only five (at most six) the vast majority of the time in each game.
He doesn't develop depth.

Coach Blair is an outstanding bench coach. He plays the players as the individual games require. He played 10 players in game 1 of the dance. He and his staff develop players well from year to year. In many instances it takes a season of playing sparingly and observing in order for a freshman or juco to adjust to the rigors of D1. The man orchestrated our only natty in the three major sports since 1939. He will retire on his own terms and on top. Gigem

I getting a little tired of the criticism of Blair for not developing his players. He developed Howard and Williams, saw them run out on them, and has now developed their replacements to get back to the Sweet 16--and maybe father along this year.

Blair develops players but we don't go for the kill always and step of the throat so to speak and allow teams back in and this we either take out bench players or don't let them get the time on the court because we are having to build our lead back up. Personally I think we have about 3-4 players in the bench that can give extended minutes but not all at the same time. He does a good job of using media timeout to get players extended breaks but he goes with his best lineup most of the game. If he feels that is a short bench then so be it.
I think we can be a team with a 8 person main rotation with this year and next year roster with out incoming recruit and the girls getting eligibility and injured players with 2-3 more getting good minutes if we can get that mid game killer instinct

Added that I think the use of an extended bench next year can allow pressing for some mid game turnovers and not have to press or have fresher legs to press if necessary in late game situations

How oh how does Geno manage to win those national championships with a very limited bench? Some of you really need to go give him the benefit of your wisdom.
