as a 9 seed. If they win the 8-9 game, they will be playing it sucks 2bu on their home court.

He has us in the Portland region instead of Greensboro, but that is not because we moved up from 16 on the S curve. He dropped USCe to a 4 seed, which means geography guidelines put them in Greensboro.

I think this means we need Vic to beat Mizzou and it certainly helps if we beat Arkansas.

Miss St. over Missouri was a good result for us.

Vic might get a 1 seed after Stanford beat Oregon in the Pac final and injuries in the Louisville loss to ND had Creme drop them to a 2 seed.

Our RPI is at 17. South Carolina dropped to 19. Gonzaga, UCF and Marquette, who are close to us in the RPI, play today.

Our RPI with Chennedy Carter has to be pretty strong as it removes the losses to Lamar and Arkansas.

Gonzaga and Marquette are the 1 seeds in their conference tourneys, so I'm not sure how much winning out helps them. I'm hoping not very much.

UCF upsetting UConn would give them a bump, but not clear how large it will be with Samuelson out for the Huskies.

So the question in my mind is how much making the semis without Carter but losing to Arkansas instead of S. Carolina helps or hurts our standing. Creme still has us as a 4, and has raised Arkansas to the first four out, fwiw. Creme isn't the committee, of course.

eta: just saw that Gonzaga, Marquette, and UCF are not just close - they are above us in RPI.

Heard Gary say on the radio today that the mid-majors that could be a 4 seed instead of us are Gonzaga and Marquette. Gonzaga is about to lose to BYU in their tournament semifinal. Marquette plays DePaul tonight I think.

Gonzaga is in their tournament final.

Two starters injured in the previous game and the coach couldn't be there because of a family emergency.

One of the injured players is John Stockton's daughter.

Depaul defeated Marquette

Marquette was up when we decided to go see Captain Marvel.

We should host after last nights games......

On their last made bucket +1, we got called for a charge when we attempted it. They got a blocking foul called. Same drive, same shoulder down, same defender moving.

I hope Charlie's bracket holds---we are not in Baylor, UCONN or MSU's bracket according to him. I would much rather have to play Notre Dame to get to the final four than those three (if we were lucky and fortunate enough to make a run)!
