COLLEGE STATION- Texas A&M travels to Houston to play the first women's basketball game in the Cougars' new Fertitta Center on Thursday, December 6.

The game is broadcast on ESPN2, with Pam Ward and Carolyn Peck on the call. Fans can also watch the game through WatchESPN and the ESPN app on smartphones, computers, tablets and connected devices (Amazon Fire TV and Fire TV Stick, Apple TV, Chromecast, Roku, Xbox 360 and Xbox One). The game airs on local radio on The Zone 1150 AM / 102.7 FM, with Tom Turbiville and Steve Miller on the call.

Aaliyah Wilson led the Aggies (4-2) with 17 points, her fourth consecutive 10+ point outing, and nine rebounds in their last game, a 74-68 loss to Lamar. Wilson, who is averaging 15.3 points per game on the season, is one of four Aggies averaging double-figure points, joined by Chennedy Carter (19.0), Kayla Wells (11.7) and Ciera Johnson (10.0).

Additionally, the Aggies are scheduled to wear a uniform patch for the first time that honors the memory of George H.W. Bush, the 41st President of the United States, who was a great friend to Texas A&M's Department of Athletics.

Houston (4-5) has four players averaging double figures in scoring including Jasmyne Harris, whose 17.4 points per game paces the team. Angela Harris ranks second on the squad with 12.3 points per game, while Serithia Hawkins adds 11.0 and Alyssa Okoene scores 10.4 per night. The Cougars won 84-77 at East Tennessee State in their last game, and have already played three overtime games this season.

The programs are meeting for the 60th time, which marks Texas A&M's fourth-most played series. The Aggies won 83-65 in last season's meeting in College Station during the Preseason WNIT.

After this game, the Aggies return home on December 8, hosting Central Arkansas at 2 p.m.

This is a moderately big deal for those of us who associate Hofheinz with UH. I think they did a good reboot on their arena.
