WOMEN'S BASKETBALL HAS 10 SEC GAMES SELECTED FOR NATIONAL BROADCAST

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- Texas A&M had 10 SEC women's basketball games picked up for national broadcast on the ESPN family of networks, as part of the 2018 SEC television package, the league announced Wednesday.

The Aggies have nine games broadcast on the SEC Network, and one game, the February 18 contest at Mississippi State, picked up for television on ESPN2 or ESPNU. In addition, the Aggies' six other conference games are available on SEC Network + to authenticated subscribers on the ESPN app.

SEC Network televises the Aggies' games against South Carolina (Dec. 31; 1 p.m.), Kentucky (Jan. 4; 6 p.m.), Tennessee (Jan. 11; 6 p.m.), Georgia (Jan. 14; 2 p.m.), LSU (Jan. 22; 6 p.m.), Vanderbilt (Jan. 28; 2 p.m.), Tennessee (Feb. 1; 5:30 p.m.), Auburn (Feb. 4; 3 p.m.) and Missouri (Feb. 25; 3 p.m.).

The Aggies' contest at Mississippi State starts at either 1 p.m. or 4 p.m., and broadcast on either ESPN2 or ESPNU, with the final determination of network and start time being announced at least 10 days prior to the game.

Texas A&M's non-conference game at Texas Tech on November 26 has been picked up for broadcast by Fox Sports Southwest. Should the Aggies reach the final of the Preseason WNIT, that game is broadcast on CBS Sports Network on November 19. Additional non-conference games could be added to the television schedule at a later date.

Since the launch of the SEC Network in 2014-15, the Aggies have had at least 10 conference games selected for linear television each year. In the three years of the SEC Network, 87 of the Aggies' 99 games have been available to fans at home through either television or digital streaming.

All of the games included in the ESPN package (ESPN2, ESPNU and SEC Network) will also be available through the ESPN app, which is accessible on computers, smartphones, tablets and connected devices to fans who receive their video subscription from an affiliated provider.
