Texas A&M women's basketball found out its 2017-18 SEC Schedule on Tuesday, a 16-game slate that starts on December 31, the earliest Texas A&M has started conference play. The Aggies face Auburn, Tennessee and their permanent opponent LSU twice during the conference schedule.
The Aggies open conference play at the defending NCAA Champions, South Carolina on Dec. 31, the first time Texas A&M has started conference before Jan. 2. The Aggies open the home SEC schedule with Kentucky on Jan. 4. The game against the Wildcats starts a set of four of six games at home, with Tennessee (Jan. 11), Georgia (Jan. 14) and LSU (Jan. 22) paying visits to Reed Arena, mixed in with road games at Auburn (Jan. 7) and at Alabama (Jan.18)
Texas A&M continues conference play with road games at Vanderbilt (Jan. 28) and at Tennessee (Feb. 1), having won in each of their last visits to those schools. The Aggies return home with games against Auburn (Feb. 4) and Ole Miss (Feb. 8). The Aggies return to LSU on Feb. 11, before hosting Florida on Feb. 15.
The Aggies face 2017 NCAA Runner-Up Mississippi State on Feb. 18 in Starkville, followed by a trip to Fayetteville to face Arkansas (Feb. 22). The Aggies close out the SEC schedule by hosting Missouri on Feb. 25 for Senior Day.
The 2018 SEC Women's Basketball Tournament is at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tenn. The tournament will include all 14 teams and begins on Wednesday, February 28 and concludes with the championship game on Sunday, March 4.
