Purdue vice president and director of athletics Mike Bobinski has announced the hiring of Jennifer Jones as director of strength & conditioning. Jones will oversee all sports other than football.

Jones comes to the Boilermakers from Texas A&M, where she has served as assistant director of strength & conditioning since 2004, working with the women's basketball program.
Congrats to Jen. Will miss her, but it sounds like quite a step up from her job description here. Didn't realize she was being recruited away from the Ags until I saw this:

Sticher played WBB at Black Hills State before transferring to N. Arizona, where she played the 2009-10 season. She stayed on as an assistant in strength and conditioning before moving to Mizzou. I think that's where she was when we got her, but it's hard to tell when that was updated. Her LinkedIn page is way out of date.

I'd be getting away from Mizzou, too.

Hate to see her go but wish her the best in her promotion.

She is not only a strength coach but a great spiritual leader.

We will miss her.....Congrats Jen!!!!!!
