.....All Americans! He now has 3 coming into his program. Add Aaliyah Wilson, a 5'9" guard transferring in from Arky. She was the 30th overall rated player by HoopsGurlz in 2016. GB beat out Mulkey and others for her!

With Ciera Johnson, the 6'4" post transfer from Louisville and the 13th rated 2016 HoopdGurlz recruit, and Chennedy Carter, the 6th overall HoopsGurlz 2017 recruit and U19 National Team member, the future is looking good ! Looks like Coach will have the talent to make another run to the top...probably year after this upcoming season.

I guess the two transfer will be sitting out one year, but practicing with the team. Carter will have her hands full as a fish point guard trying to direct traffic for GB's offense.

I think both of the transfers played AAU ball with Carter.

The Arkansas fans were really hoping that she would reconsider after Neighbors was hired. Interesting that a couple of Arkansas transfers have been allowed to stay in the SEC: Danberry went to Vic in the middle of last season.

I don't know about the AAU, but it makes sense, and I figure one way or another, Carter is the catalyst for the other two to join her on what will likely be a very good team in the fall of 2018. I think most of these top players know each other one way or another.

Wilson is from Muskogee, OK....GB keeping that pipeline coming in from OK after Danielle Gant and Courtney Walker, plus Taylor Cooper! Taylor is from Shawnee, Courtney and Danielle from Edmund.

I grew up in the oil fields and have spent 3 yrs in the bad lands North of the Red River...before the casinos
proliferated the State. Nice to get some good players away from the land thieves!!

2 corrections to my original post.

Carter is on the U19 World Cup team. Same 12 member team that will compete in Italy, just the correct name.

Wilson evidently is now 5'11" based on the info at the Aggie Athletics site. Good to have a tall guard!

Blair is making some good pickups recently with these transfers. Unfortunately we won't see them all together on the court until 2018-19. Now with Vic entrenched at Miss State and Blair with a recent extension, we have to improve the talent in the program and we're beginning to do that. So that's a good sign.
