2 Stanford v 1 S. Carolina at 6:30 PM CDT
2 Miss State v 1 UConn est to start at 8:30 PM CDT

Both 1 seeds are favored. Personally, I'd like to see both 2s in the Final.

I sometimes look at the boards for other teams, but only a few are active for WBB. I've noticed that a lot of Yankees on the UConn board don't get the Southern charm of Andy Landers and tend to read between the lines of the banter between Andy Landers and Rebecca Lobo.

I thought of them when I saw this:

I'll be at the games tonight, more specifically to cheer for Choach Shafer to excel. I had the opportunity to work with him and our own Women's team during my time at A&M and he was one of the toughest coaches I ever had experience working with.

Feels like UNLV-Duke back in 1991. When a team doesn't play close games pretty much all year, it can be a shock when someone finally punches them in the mouth.

Definitely. uConn does play great D with their size, but their O has been dog***** They seem more tight than MSU, even though MSU has had some brainfarts too.

They may win but why did Vic play for OT rather than run a play at the end of regulation? A decent shot or a bigger player going to the basket and getting fouled might have won.

I dont see an issue with Vic unleashing his jitterbug for that last shot. No way was he playing for OT. I think he realky wanted the bucket, but you cant leave time to get beat. Tends to limit options, but I dont comsider it playing for OT.

Go back and watch, it looked like a deliberate attempt to get a shot (high percentage) close to the bucket.
