I was at Cox-McFerrin and the sound was off while Vic was talking (the team was speaking). What did he say?

UCLA must have been the last 4 seed since they are in the UCONN region. That means we must have been the highest 5 seed. If we had made 1 more free throw at Missouri or 1 less turnover at LSU; oh well.
Still, an amazing accomplishment to play in the NCAA Tournament 12 years in a row. When Gary came here I thought we might never play in it again. This will be Gary and Kelly's 31st NCAA game here at A&M.
I knew Charlie Creme's bracket was off right away when West Virginia was sent to Maryland.

You should have known Creme was way off when Syracuse was named as the 8 in Storrs, or when we got called as a 5 in LA.

I'm not sure UCLA is the last 4 seed. On a strict S curve they would be, but they were also the 4th best team in the Pac and had to go to Storrs to avoid Stanford, Oregon State, and Washington. Miami might be the last 4 seed; Creme had them as a 5.

ESPN Had them as a one seed playing in Stockton, Ca based on their loss in B12 tournament. South Carolina was to get Oklahoma City site.

Now SC even though a higher seed than Baylor has to go coast to coast while Baylor stays close to home at OKC

I watched the extended coverage on WatchESPN last night. Creme was complaining about the bracket. The rationale from the committee was that SC would be flying either to OKC or Stockton, so putting Baylor in OKC reduces the number of teams and fanbases that have to fly. Creme wasn't buying it.

Things that I found funny on other boards:

• UConn fans complaining about their path
• The bracket is a conspiracy against male coaches

In other news, Alaina Coates won't be available for S. Carolina.
