The Texas A&M woman's basketball team travelled to Baton Rouge to take on the LSU Tigers on Thursday evening. In a turnover plagued game, the Aggies would fall 67-63.
Despite shooting 55% from the field and holding LSU to zero three pointers made, 23 total turnovers was too much to overcome in the end. LSU also made 13 free throws compared to the Aggies four.
Khaalia Hillsman led the Ags in points with 24 on 12-17 shooting. Taylor Cooper added 12 points, with two three pointers made. Danni Williams had nine points and Curtyce Knox notched eight points and 10 assists in the loss.
The Ags will be back in the friendly confines of Reed Arena as they welcome the #3 ranked Mississippi State Bulldogs to town. That game is Sunday, February 19th and will be shown on the SEC network.
